The truth is that I have been constantly questioning this question lately since I am passing the fifth year of university so I have little left to live that experience. Like everyone who is in this course, I study forestry engineering, I quite like nature and its conservation is what most attracts my attention to do. I have the plan that after leaving university, I will head south for a couple of years in order to work and study in national parks or national reserves.
I still do not know if I am going to do exactly what I mentioned, but it is certain that I will leave Santiago for a while at least, I cannot imagine working a full life in an office and less in a city as big as Santiago, I have always I liked exploring and / or knowing so I will surely stay in forests doing some activities such as research.
Regarding the research and matter or theme related to the career studied, I think I would like to solve environmental problems that are so present today such as an increase in pollutants, a decrease in the native forest and things related to paperwork since generally it is allowed to build or projects that considerably damage nature so I would like to know how to control that.
How great it would be to work in the south, away from the city. I think it is the dream of many.
